Composition: My Country (বাংলা অর্থসহ)
Introductoin: The name of my country is Bangladesh. It is situated in Sourth Asia. It is a small, beautiful, independent country. Its capital is Dhaka.
The history of independence: The independence history of Bangladesh is both tragic and glorious. The country became independent in 1971. Almost 3 millioms people had to sacrifice their lives for this independence. Besides, a good number of men and women had to bear brutal torture.

Inhabitants: Bangladesh is an over populated country. Her population is about 160 millions. Most of the people are Muslims. The others are Hindus, Buddhists, Christians etc. Maximum people are simple minded and peace- loving. Almost 80% people are farmers and poor. Pyjaman and panjabi are men’s national dress and sharee for women. The state language of this country is Bangla. Most of the people live in the villages. Rice is the main food of the Bangladeshis.
Natural resources: Nature has given Bangladesh many nice gifts. The land of Bangladesh is very fertile. Many kiinds of crops are grown in this fertile land. On the other hand, Bangladesh is riverine country. There are hundreds of small and big rivers and a sea in this country. There are a lot of fishes in these rivers. Natural gas and coal are the main mineral assets.
Natural beauty: Bangladesh is a land of natural beauty. Nature given her different beauties at different times. There are thousands of villages and lacs of crop fields in Bangladesh. These are very beautiful and attracive. Moreover, the scenery of Cox’s bazar and Sundarbans are very attractive and charming. With all these, Bangladesh is a land of excellent beauty.
Problems: There are also some problems in Bangladesh. Poverty, illiteracy and over population are the main problems of Banglasesh. Besides, various kinds of natural calamities hit Bangladesh in almost every year. There cause huge loss and destruction.
Conclusion: Despite some problems, Bangladesh is really a wonderful country. In fact, this country is a blessed child of nature. I am very proud of my dear Bangladesh.

ভূমিকা: আমার দেশের নাম বাংলাদেশ। ইহা অবস্থিত দক্ষিণ এশিয়ায়। ইহা একটি ছোট্ট সুন্দর স্বাধীন দেশ। ইহার আয়তন ১,৪৭,৫৭০ বর্গকিলোমিটার। ইহার রাজধানী ঢাকা।
স্বাধীনতার ইতিহাস: বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীনতার ইতিহাস বেদনাদায়ক ও গৌরবময় দুটোই। দেশটি স্বাধীন হয়েছিল ১৯৭১ সালে। প্রায় ৩ মিলিয়ন লোককে উৎসর্গ করতে হয়েছিল তাদের জীবন এই স্বাধীনতার জন্য। তাছাড়া বহুসংখ্যক নর এবং নারীকে সহ্য করতে হয়েছিল চরম নির্যাতন।
অধিবাসী: বাংলাদেশ একটি জনবহুল দেশ। তার জন্যসংখ্যা প্রায় ১৬০ মিলিয়ন। বেশিরভাগ জনগণ মুসলমান। অন্যরা হিন্দু, বৌদ্ধ, খ্রিষ্টান ইত্যাদি। অধিকাংশ জনগণ সরল এবং শান্তিপ্রিয়। প্রায় শতকরা ৮০ ভাগ লোক কৃষক এবং গরিব। পায়জামা এবং পাঞ্জাবি পুরুষদের জাতীয় পোশাক এবং শাড়ি মহিলাদের। এদেশের রাষ্ট্রভাষা বাংলা। বেশিরভাগ লোক বাস করে গ্রামে। ভাত বাংলাদেশিদের প্রধান খাদ্য।
প্রাকৃতিক সম্পদ: প্রকৃতি বাংলাদেশকে দিয়েছে অনেক সুন্দর সুন্দর উপহার। বাংলাদেশের ভূমি অত্যন্ত উর্বর। নানা ধরনের ফসল জন্মে এ উর্বর মাটিতে। অন্যদিকে বাংলাদেশ একটি নদীমাতৃক দেশ। শত শত ছোট- বড় নদী এবং একটি সমুদ্র আছে এই দেশে। প্রচুর পরিমান মাছ আছে নদীগুলোতে। প্রাকৃতিক গ্যাস এবং কয়লা প্রধান প্রধান খনিজ সম্পদ।
প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্য: বাংলাদেশ একটি প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্যের দেশ। প্রকৃতি তাকে দেয় ভিন্ন ভিন্ন সৌন্দর্য ভিন্ন ভিন্ন সময়ে। হাজার হাজার গ্রাম এবং লক্ষ লক্ষ শস্যখেত আছে বাংলাদেশে। এগুলো অত্যন্ত সুন্দর এবং আকর্ষণীয়। তাছাড়া, কক্সবাজার সমুদ্রসৈকত এবং সুন্দরবনের দৃশ্য খুব আকর্ষণীয় ও মনোরম। সবকিছু মিলে, বাংলাদেশ একটি চমৎকার সৌন্দর্যের দেশ।

সমস্যাসমূহ: কিছু সমস্যাও আছে বাংলাদেশে। দারিদ্র্য, নিরক্ষরতা এবং অতিরিক্ত জনসংখ্যা বাংলাদেশের প্রধান প্রধান সমস্যা। তাছাড়াও বিভিন্ন প্রকারের দুর্যোগ বাংলাদেশে আঘাত হানে প্রায় প্রতিবছর। এগুলো ঘটায় ব্যাপক ক্ষতি ও ধ্বংস।
উপসংহাস: কিছু সমস্যা সত্ত্বেও, বাংলাদেশ সত্যিকারভাবেই একটি চমৎকার দেশ। প্রকৃতপক্ষে, এই দেশ প্রকৃতির আশীর্বাদপুষ্ট একটি শিশু। মি অত্যন্ত গর্বিত আমার বাংলাদেশকে নিয়ে।
