He invented it in 1833. Following his invented structure, Harvard University and IBM computer invented modern electric computer in 1944. After that, computer was modified and developed very rapidly.
Kinds of computer: Generally, computer is of two kinds. One is Analogue and another is Digital. Digital computer is used more than Analogue computer.
Function of computer: Normally, a computer can perform three kinds of jobs. It receives data, processes it and at last delete it. Computer can’t run automatically. It only follows the operator’s directions.
Uses of computer: Computer has many kinds of uses. Nowadays, computer is being used in our country in the following sections.
In education: The use of computer is increasing rapidly in education sector. The students are using computer in learning their lessons. The result of the examinations are also prepared with the help of computer in a very short time.
In medical science: Computer is being badly used in medical science. It is used to recognize diseases. It is also used to perform difficult operations.
In mills and factories: Nowadays, no mills and factories can run without computer. Use of computer is increasing the production of mills and factories. Computer is also used to preserve various kinds of necessary data.
In printing: Computer has brought a radical change in printing sector. It has eased the function of printing. Now thousands of books, newspapers, magazines can be printed in a short time.
In trade and commerce: At present, no trade and commerce can run without computer. Almost all the activities are being controlled by computer. It has made trade and commerce developed and speedy.
Other uses: Computer is has many other uses. It is a great source of our pleasure and recreation. We can deposit many necessary and personal data in computer. Moreover, using internet we can collect many useful informations very fast.
Conclusion: In a word, computer is a part and parcel of our modern life. It has made our life speedy, happy and comfortable. So, modern life can’t run even a moment without computer.
