Dear Joy,
Hope that you are well. It has come to my knowledge that you are unwilling to learning English. Though English is our second language and its importance is no less than our mother tongue. It is the only language through which anybody can communication with anyone going anywhere.
Again, higher education at home and abroad necessitates learning English well, because the best books on different branches of education are in English. If our students do not have sound knowledge in English, they could not be doctors, economists, philosophers, scientists, engineers and pilots. Further, the knowledge of English is still very essential in getting any good job. If anybody wants to be a navigator or a tourist guide, he or she must be well conversant in English.
So I think the importance of learning English is great. I would therefore, like to advise you to learn English well.

আশা করি ভালো আছো। আমি জানতে পারলাম যে তুমি ইংরেজি শিখতে অনিচ্ছুক। যদিও ইংরেজি আমাদের দ্বিতীয় ভাষা, এর গুরুত্ব আমাদের মাতৃভাষার চেয়ে কম নয়। এটা একমাত্র ভাষা যার মাধ্যমে যে কেউ যেকোনো স্থানে যোগাযোগ করতে পারে।
আবার দেশে ও বিদেশে উচ্চশিক্ষায় ভালো ইংবেজি শেখার প্রয়োজন পড়ে, কারণ শিক্ষার বিভিন্ন শাখার উপর ভালো বইগুলো ইংবেজিতে। যদি আমাদের ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা ইংবেজিতে ভালো জ্ঞান না রাখে তারা ডাক্তার, অর্থনীতিবিদ, দার্শনিক, বিজ্ঞানী, প্রকৌশলী, পাইলট হতে পারবে না। আবার ভালো ইংরেজি জ্ঞান ভালো চাকরি পাওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে সহায়ক। যদি কেউ নাবিক বা পর্যটক হতে চায় তাকে অবশ্যই ইংরেজিতে ভালো আলাপী হতে হবে।
তাই আমি মনে করি ইংরেজি শেখার গুরুত্ব ব্যাপক। সুতরাং আমি তোমার ইংরেজি শেখার উপদেশ দিচ্ছি।
